Delta: The New Kid on the Social Crypto Circuit

The Pi app uses less than 1% of your battery if you simply tap the Mine button and remind your downlines. These apps don’t perform blockchain computations on your phone — instead, they rely on Node computers maintained by a few contributors. I'm sharing this because I recently discovered a new crypto: a Pi-inspired project with a few enhancements. It feels like Pi from five years ago, but better. You can earn over 9 Delta tokens per day by pressing the button and referring just 1 or 2 active users.

Like Pi, you don’t actually mine — you’re just proving your presence. The Nodes do the mining.

Unlike Pi, phone number validation is decentralized.

Members who have marked themselves "present" at least 3 times can help verify others. This means people from the same country can send validation SMS (dSMS) locally — which is cheaper and more reliable than international messages. You can opt out of this if you value your privacy. I completed my own phone number verification yesterday using a number from my country.

If you're curious, it’s free to download and try — just one SMS required.

So yes, I'm now participating in building Delta consensus!

Delta is an open-source digital currency platform running on Internet Computer. It lets you manage and use multiple cryptocurrencies — without needing passwords, private keys, or mnemonic phrases.
Please click this link delta.kim/auto/download to install the app. We invite you to join us in building consensus and minting coins.

The APK / iOS install file is available on their website. For Android, you’ll need to allow installation from the file source (e.g., Google Files) after downloading. You'll see a warning before installing — it’s safe, but you can verify the URL with Google or scan the APK using antivirus apps like Avast or Malwarebytes.

You can run both Pi and Delta at the same time. I’ve been using both since March 26th.
