Dear Michael,
Merry Christmas, Michael! I was so glad to receive your letter. I’m looking forward to stopping by your house in Vancouver for some cookies and milk. I so enjoyed the treats you left for me, last year. You did a really good job decorating your house, last year. I enjoyed my visit. You are really lucky to live where you can see the mountains. There are no mountains in the North Pole. Just lots and lots of snow.
How are your little brother and sister? I hope you are being a good big brother and helping mom and dad look after them. Being a big brother is a very important job and your little brother and sister will need lots of help.
You have quite a long list of wishes for me, this year, but I know that you have been a very good boy. I have been watching you very carefully and keeping track on my Nice List. The elves tell me that you’re really excited about wanting a drum set(red). I will see what I can do. I know they have been working very hard to make sure all the toys are ready. My big red bag is getting quite full.
I’m getting all ready for my trip. Mrs. Claus has made me a new suit. The reindeer are practicing their flying and Rudolph is firing up his nose, just in case. It has been snowing a lot in the North Pole. The snowmen tell me they haven’t seen this much snow in a long time! Ho! Ho! Ho!
Well, Christmas Eve is getting closer and I have many other letters to write, today, and my daily toy inspection a little later, so I better close now.
Just remember:
· Make sure you go to bed early, Christmas Eve
· Obey mom and dad
· Leave your stockings out (and perhaps a carrot or two that I can share with the reindeer – they get hungry, too!)
Merry Christmas, Michael!
